What is Camp Wildwood?
In 1912, there was a vision for somewhere campers would feel safe, accepted, and loved. This somewhere would allow children and teens could encounter outdoors, engage in friendships and discover the goodness of God through it all.
Fast forward to today, and Camp Wildwood continues to be that somewhere for people across the Maritimes! We aim to allow children, youth, and adults to have an Outdoor Adventure and develop Christian character.

What Matters the Most Us?
Being Supportive Environment for Growth
We create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters acceptance and personal development. Our trained staff members serve as inspiring mentors, guiding campers through new experiences and helping them develop a healthy sense of independence and a more true understanding of who they are created to be.
Creating Adventure & Experiences
Camp Wildwood is all about having a great time and embarking on exciting adventures! Our campers enjoy a variety of activities, creating lasting memories and good friendships along the way. All of our programming helps campers create healthy relationships. With endless new experiences, there's never a dull moment.
providing Delicious Meals & Happy Campers
We believe amazing things happen around a table. We know that good food is essential for a fantastic camp experience. That's why we serve meals that kids love, ensuring they have the energy and enthusiasm to fully enjoy their time at camp. At Camp Wildwood, we have a holistic view of care. We strive to keep our campers happy, healthy, and ready for adventure!
prioritizing personal Groups & Cozy Accommodations
We understand the importance of personal attention and comfortable living spaces. That's why we maintain a small group setting, with two leaders and a maximum of twelve campers in each cabin. Our cozy accommodations ensure that campers feel at home while enjoying their time. Hospitality allows campers feel welcome and safe in a new place.
Geoff BraceExecutive DirectorI've had the privilege of being the Executive Director of Camp Wildwood for over 35 years. I'm dedicated to creating memorable and enriching experiences for staff and campers at Camp Wildwood.
My passion for camping extends beyond Camp Wildwood, as I've been a part of Christian Camping International Canada for over 15 years and have been on the Board for the New Brunswick Camping Association (NBCA) for more than 20 years. |
Alex HiseyAssistant DirectorIn 2017, some key people spoke into my gifts and interests and speculated that I would love faith-based camping. After the joining the team that summer as a junior cabin leader, my love for camping ministry only grew year after year. I started pursuing a calling into a career in camping ministry which would guide my education in Psychology & Theology.
As I finish a Master's of Outdoor Adventure & Leadership, I couldn't be more excited about stepping further into this calling. My love for Christian camping comes from being able to watch young leaders, whether campers or staff, discover who God has created them to be and being able to assist them in stepping into that identity. |
